🇮🇩| Searching For My Indonesian Family PART 2. Where Did My Mother Live? East Java, Indonesia
We are in East Java to explore my Indonesian roots. My mom got adopted in Solo, Indonesia, and Right after she started her first 5.5 years growing up in Madiun with her parents who adopted her. We slowly explore my roots and in this episode, we have a look at the place my mom grew up before she moved to The Netherlands.
The next episode is the most exciting one because we have my mom's adoption papers and we're maybe able to trace down my Indonesian roots. They don’t know I exist and I don’t know if they are waiting for me to show up at their doorsteps. It's the scariest thing I've ever done though I'm excited to see what Indonesia is like and learn about the culture regardless. Feel free to be part of this journey :)
