The Sedona Knot Cushion is crocheted with 3 strands of yarn held together as one. All half double crochet stitches in US terms.
6.5 mm hook.
Skill level: advanced beginner because it can be tricky to crochet with 3 strands at once. The half double crochet stitch itself is simple.
Requires about 2,880 yards (2,634 m) of worsted, aran, or bulky weight yarn if you hold the yarn tripled as shown in the tutorial. If you prefer to use only one super bulky weight yarn on its own, you will need about 960 yards or 877 m of yarn.
Also requires about 2 pounds or 1 kg of polyester fiberfill stuffing or any other stuffing.
You can tie knots to join yarns, leaving 3-inch tails to crochet over as shown in the tutorial. Any diameter of tube from 9 inches to 14 inches will work. That is about 23 cm to 36 cm diameter.
