Applying foundation with a sponge is one of my favorite ways to apply foundation - I confess it's been a while since I used a brush. I find it very quick and convenient, and I also really like the effect it gives, of natural skin, almost as if you were wearing no foundation at all. I think the sponge is a great tool for beginners because it's less likely to overdo it compared to applying foundation with a brush. Plus, you can apply concealer with the sponge, and the effect is wonderful!
Don't forget to dampen your sponge before applying foundation so it absorbs less product, saving you money.
