Basics of the Power Chord
Here is a video that looks at the basic shape of the power chord. Show the open E power chord, F chord and G chord. Also show the open A power chord and the B and C chords too.
Take note of the X on the strings on the chord charts. Those strings are not played. Each "power chord" we play here is made of three strings or notes.
