Audi E5: Made in China, Changing Everything
The Audi E5 Sportback marks a bold new chapter for Audi. Developed under the SAIC-Audi joint venture, this China-exclusive electric vehicle is the first to launch under the new "AUDI" branding—without the iconic four rings. It's Audi like you've never seen before.
The E5 Sportback features a sleek fastback design, stretching around 4.88 meters in length with a 2.95-meter wheelbase, offering spacious seating for five. Built on the Advanced Digitized Platform (ADP), co-developed with SAIC, the E5 supports 800V ultra-fast charging—capable of adding 370 km of range in just 10 minutes.
Performance options include rear-wheel drive and Quattro all-wheel drive, with top variants accelerating from 0–100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds. Range tops out at an impressive 770 km (CLTC cycle).
Inside, it’s a tech haven: a 27-inch 4K panoramic display, AI-powered AUDI OS, Snapdragon 8295 chip, personalized ambient lighting, and even a fragrance diffuser. It’s all built with Chinese consumers in mind—modern, digital, and luxurious.
With an estimated price range of ¥300,000–¥400,000, the E5 targets high-profile rivals like the Tesla Model Y, NIO ES6, XPeng G6, BYD Tang EV, and BMW iX3.
