Critical Care ICU Medication = Levophed
Hello all! Thank you so much for watching my videos! In this video we are going over the ICU nursing skill of administering and titrating the medication norepinephrine also known for its brand name Levophed. This medication is given to the critically ill patient that has severe hypotension or low blood pressure.
Although this video is pretty specific to my facility, it will give you a general idea of how to administer and follow an order or protocol. It also explains how to take an order that would override the protocol.
