Hey everyone it's been a while since I posted a video. This video I am going over Nvidia stock. Nvidia is a company that sells GPUs, one of their product lines in the GeForce series of GPUs. They have had exceptional growth this past year and I expect their stock to grow further. NVDA is a gaming-centric company but their move into AI markets is what will bring them additional success in the future. Make sure to read their reports and listen to the nvidia conference calls before making an investment decision. I myself have a position using Nvidia options, I took this position after estimating the future of Nvidias company value. In my opinion, Nvidia stock is a buy.
NVDAs rival AMD, Advanced Micro Devices, also sells GPUs, but NVDA sells a lot more at a better gross margin! Check out the paper I wrote as it explains everything in much better detail, I also missed some stuff in the video.
Catalysts:
New GeForce 20 series with Volta Architecture
Switch console selling more units
2020 Autonomous cars with Nvidia's hardware are on the street
Risks:
Something impeding the CEO's ability to do his job
Nvidia losing market penetration or leadership to AMD
Consumer spending decline on gaming related spending
I've been learning the discounted cash flow method for evaluating companies. This method uses future cash flows and discounts them to a present value.
