This live performance video was recorded in the 1990's on my mom's Sony 8mm camera (thanks, mom!), which amazingly and thankfully still works. Then, they were recently (2023) converted on a ClearClick 2.0 digital converter. I only did minor touch-up in Final Cut Pro to make these videos look and sound just a tad better than they did at first, but in an attempt to leave them as pure as possible.
Please note that these videos were never intended to "see the light of day", and were truly just meant for me/us to watch, so we never cared whether they looked or sounded good originally or not. They were meant more as a documentary of the evening overall, than to capture a live sound. The band would usually watch the performance recording at the next practice, to see how bad we messed up, what parts, etc., and what we could improve, and then the tapes went in a box with all the others to sit for the next 30 years until I eventually posted them on YouTube.
Honestly, it's really kinda' hard for me to watch these as I edited them, for myriad reasons. And I have truly resisted posting them for a long time. But I have been asked by so many people through the years to post these videos that I feel I've been doing a disservice, and hopefully this sets it right.
A special thanks goes to James, who recorded many of these videos. But also thanks to anyone else who ended up on camera duty at our shows, such as Phekps, Craig, Sean, Amy, and others. And thanks to everyone that was ever involved, for that matter. It was a helluvalotta fun, and we couldn't have done it without you.
