Shifting Marbles (ft. Euroack, Marbles, Rings, Elements, Plaits, PercussaSSP)
an exploration into using marbles as a shift register with external cv input.
external cv is sequenced from the Octatrack (sometimes with random pitch lfo) thru the hermod.
rings, elements and plaits provide the sound sources
modulated by stages
these are mixing and extra fx added by the percussa ssp.
(which also acts as an audio interface)
marbles is the heart ...
ext (pitch) cv comes from the octatrack via hermod
the X side is clocked by the gates from the octatrack notes.
this means it acts as a sample and hold with shift register.
plus the normal marbles functions of scale, offset, quantizing and deja vu locking.
the T side is just the midi clock, so t1-t3 are completely independent of the pitch changes being generated on the X side.
