- Download the HiBit StartUp Manager zip file; the portable version is great for quick use without installation.

- To disable an app, right-click it and select "Disable." To stop it immediately without rebooting, select "Stop."
- Look for entries marked with an "Error" icon to find and delete startup items pointing to files that no longer exist.
- Use the "Tools" menu and select "Boot Optimizer" then "Measure" to restart your PC and get a detailed report of your boot speed.
- Explore the "Service Manager" and "Task Scheduler Manager" to clean up background processes that Task Manager might miss.
- Use the "Context Menu Manager" if you want to remove unwanted items that appear when you right-click files or folders.
- For safety, use the built-in virus scanner to check any suspicious startup files against multiple antivirus databases.
