Bosch 18v STRONG ARM circular saw with TRACK compatibility Review | GKS18v-25GCN | ep.12 | Track saw
We take a look at the BOSCH GKS18v-25GCN. It is pretty much the same saw as the GKS18v-25C but with a few upgrades such as Variable speed, plunge, and track compatibility. In the BOSCH PROFACTOR lineup it uses bi-turbo technology to achieve maximum performance.
Is it any better than the non track compatible model? yes
Is it a true track saw? no
But a great saw none the less.
Bosch also has 12ah PROFACTOR batteries which are ONLY compatible with PROFACTOR bi-turbo brushless tools. The 12ah batteries will not fit on a non PROFACTOR brushless tools.
The tool is a great addition to the BOSCH profactor line up as long as it's paired with an 8 ah or 12 ah battery. Any other battery will reduce it's performance quite a bit. It is compatible with the Bosch track, festool track, and the Makita track. Lacking any tuning or adjustment features, along with a riving knife it's not a true track saw, but depending on your use case you may be able to get away with it.
