In this episode, we take a look at the brand new construction jacks from Dewalt. These jacks look familiar because there are products called quick jacks from the Irwin company. The Stanley black and decker company owns both the Dewalt brand and the Irwin brand so I'm sure there's the same engineering behind both of them just marketed to different users of different brands and maybe even different stores. But these jacks are really useful when you need them because there's not too many other similar products like it. There are lifters and jacks that existed before these came to market but these were the first ones marketed towards construction and heavy lifting. Each Jack is rated to lift between 330 to 340 pounds max per a jack. These jacks are useful in many number of cases, including appliance, leveling, construction, lifting, deck, boards, squeezing, just putting any type of pressure or force against another surface. They also have features to mount them securely. The Dewalt one is my favorite because it can be used while standing up with your feet to press the trigger. The Irwin, you have to pull up on the trigger.
