We are in the service of the leprosy affected since 1874. The Leprosy Mission was started in 1874 at Ambala to serve the leprosy sufferers. At present we are having 18 hospitals, 6 Vocational Training Centers and Projects all over India to uplift the lives of leprosy affected people. All Donations to The Leprosy Mission Trust India is 100% exempted from Income Tax under 35 AC (Comprehensive Rehabilitation).
The Leprosy Mission, Vizianagaram is one of the above said units working for Upliftment of leprosy affected people since 1915. Our Residential VTC in Vizianagaram was started in 1995. The aim of our Vocational Training Centre is rehabilitation of the leprosy back ground children by providing marketable Vocational Training and jobs on completion of training.
