Jim, has had over 38+ years of experience in the space of seismic design, evaluation and rehabilitation of building structures while working with Degenkolb. He had been responsible for the analytical and testing investigations performed as part of the SAC Steel Project in response to the 1994 Northridge earthquake damage and is also heavily involved in the seismic peer review of numerous tall building projects in areas of high seismic risk. He has received a numerous prestigious awards along his career and most importantly was recently honored election to the National Academy of Engineering.
