Root Lime Tree Cuttings at Home | DIY Citrus Propagation
In this video we will look at how to propagate a lime tree using nothing but a pot, saran wrap, and a sandwich bag. This process would also work for a lemon tree. Lime trees are one of the most popular citrus fruits and you can grow a lime tree for free! We will take a cutting off of a mature lime tree, wound the cutting, put rooting powder on the cutting, and pot. I let the cutting set in the "greenhouse" we make in the video for about 6 weeks. 2 out of the 4 that I tried to root ended up with healthy roots.
