The best GoPRo Light, for Vlogging and general use?
The GoPro Hero 9 Black is a fantastic camera, but doesn't always perform great in low-light.
Looking for a video light that's low-cast and portable with a decent battery life lead me to the Ulanzi VL49.
Take a look at how it performs both in low-light situations and complete darkness.
With a price tag of only £15 the Ulanzi VL49 is certainly low-cost, similar width to the GoPro Hero 9 Black and a weight of only 90 grams, this means it's portable and fits comfortably in the case that comes with the GoPro, and a battery lasting hours (2 hours on max brightness), which is easily chargeable via USB-C means it checks all the boxes, and best of all it outperforms it's price point comfortably.

A shoe-mount case/adaptor is required to mount on camera....

Another great option - Ulanzi Battery door, with shoe mount: https://amzn.to/3pwka62
I intentionally didn't summarise my results as I feel the performance speaks for itself, and while it's perfect for my requirements, many will have a different expectation from a light,
But one thing we can be sure of is the Ulanzi VL49 is a fantastic piece of kit for the price.
(This video is not sponsored, I purchased the light myself after extensive research)
