Restoring the Caatinga
The main objective of the “Restoring the Caatinga” project was to contribute to the Caatinga restoration production chain, through training and capacity building, strengthening the seed network, incorporating new technologies and planting native seedlings for the recovery of degraded areas and environmental enrichment.
With this work it has been possible to promote a positive cycle in the conservation of the Caatinga, based on the mobilization of stakeholders and local communities, generating opportunities based on the conservation of the most biodiverse semi-arid region in the world.
The Restaura Caatinga Project is realized by the Caatinga Association, with the support of Celeo, through the Serra de Ibiapaba project, and coordinated by @vbioeco
