The Xiaomi Qin AI will be offered in Black and White color options and customers can pre-order it from Xiaomi s crowdfunding platform. It is available for 199 RMB, which is approximately Rs 2,000, and the phone will start shipping from September 15. There is no word on whether or not Xiaomi plans to launch it in other markets.
There is also a 2G version powered by a MediaTek MT6260A SoC with ARM Cortex A7 cores, 8MB of RAM and 16MB internal storage, FoneArena reports. The feature phone comes with a 1,480mAh battery, which Xiaomi promises to offer a talk time of 15 hours, and 420 hours of standby. It also includes a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer. It is powered by Nucleus OS.
