Kansas Abortion Amendment Referendum of 2022
Amendment 2, also known as the Value Them Both Amendment, was a constitutional amendment referendum. If enacted the amendment stated that the State Constitution would not guarantee a right to abortion, allow the state government to prosecute individuals involved in abortions, and the Kansas government is not required to fund abortions.
This was the first abortion-related constitutional amendment on the ballot since the US Supreme Court overturned the Roe v. Wade decision earlier that year, stating that abortions weren't protected under the US Constitution.
