Black and white films are the cradle of cinema, and in a time when the use of color wasn't possible, filmmakers needed to explore other resources—contrasts between light and shadow, shades of gray, image texture—to create aesthetics that helped tell stories.
And one of the emotions we can evoke through image aesthetics is a feeling of nostalgia, of a time gone by, and that's exactly how to achieve this effect that I'm going to teach you in this tutorial.
