These QoL are just what I believe is the most important to give new players a better playing experience but there are a lot of hidden gems that you can find out by just taking the time to explore your settings. In my opinion, a lot of these QoL changes aren't crucial to allowing you to enjoy but it definitely helps.
If anything, changing the inventory and the hud is crucial of all else. It definitely will save you a lot of time in the long run.
