The name Mill Pond Cave doesn’t sound particularly exciting, but this little known cave in Jackson County, Tennessee is full of secrets. The first is that it isn’t actually a pond, even though it looks like one.
It’s actually a spring. The cave system hidden just behind this unassuming little spring wanders back for over 400 feet. It’s also quite narrow and windy, making it both technically challenging and pretty terrifying.
