Mastering one’s instrument is an important factor for any sound artists or musicians to communicate and express. Tools transmit idea into sound; transform sound into materials reflecting creative approach that allows tools to perform beyond their usual concept. Some artists turn daily objects into devices, some interacts with typical instruments in his unique manner, some approaches body as a tool changing movements to sound, using sound as instrument revealing the rare world of listening, some relates instruments to a space, interact with silence permitting sound to perform in various situations. The specific methods in which the instruments are mastered expand their existed meanings, stimulate imagination for experimenting thoughts blending experiences to pave an alternative wave of listening that coincides with a new wave of sound.
