Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is a first-person shooter video game developed by Treyarch and Raven Software. It is the twenty-first installment in the Call of Duty franchise and the sixth main game in the Black Ops story-driven sub-series, serving as a direct sequel to Call of Duty: Black Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War (2020). The game is scheduled for release on October 25, 2024, for Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S, and will be available to Xbox Game Pass subscribers on the same day.
The game's single-player campaign, described as a "fast-paced and intense spy thriller," will continue the story of Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War, set in the early 1990s. Its multiplayer mode will feature sixteen new maps at launch and incorporate omnidirectional movement mechanics, allowing players to run, dive, and slide in any direction.
