Is the X-E4 the Best Vlogging Camera from Fujifilm?
Is the new X-E4 the best vlogging camera from Fujifilm? It has many features that vloggers are looking for: small, compact, a front facing articulating screen, 3.5mm microphone input, the ability to monitor your audio, decent video features, etc. One feature that is missing is In Body Image Stabilization or IBIS. You can definitely vlog without IBIS, but then you'll need some other way to stabilize your video, usually with a lens that has Optical Image Stabilization or OIS. For Fujfilm, the best lens for vlogging will probably be the XF10-24mm f/4 OIS. I have the older version, but the new version will give you 1 stop better stabilization. *Someone mentioned a high-frequency buzz in the audio. Because the wireless system works at the 2.4Ghz range, the same as Bluetooth, my thinking is that the Bluetooth on the X-E4 could have been interfering with the audio signal. I will test this further and report back to you.
