One of the superpowers of Apache Sedona is the ability to work with both vector data (geometries + associated attributes) and raster data (cells + band values) at scale - all using the power of SQL. In this live stream we'll see how to load raster data using Wherobots Cloud and use Spatial SQL to perform raster data operations like map algebra to compute changes across raster time series or calculate NDVI for landcover analysis using satellite imagery. We'll also cover joining raster data and vector data for operations like zonal statistics.
