Trump Indictment Explained
Former President Donald Trump was just been indicted by a Manhattan grand jury. The indictment describing the charges against Trump is currently sealed. News outlets have reported that the charges arise out of Trump’s alleged involvement in the payment of $130,000 by his then-lawyer, Michael Cohen, to Stormy Daniels during Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign.
This marks the first time in US history that a current or former president will face criminal charges.
