Recently, because of the economy slowing down and trade sanctions against China, many suppliers are on the brink of bankruptcy. In this time they might try to scam inexperienced overseas buyers on Alibaba to get some last minute cash, before disappearing completely!
We are talking about the case of a European buyer, that bought 34K worth of goods on Alibaba and got scammed! The supplier disappeared from Alibaba, their phones could not be reached so the buyer asked us to go to the supplier's address to find out what happened.
