This is an extraordinary test they did with preschoolers all of them got it right in under 20 seconds. When they asked adults to do it, over 90% FAILED to get the correct answer.

Many people fail to grasp how simple the solution is to this puzzle and tend to over think the solution. Try it and see if you can do it... I didn't know the answer and felt stupid myself when I first tried it.
