Ep. 114 - Where is Hind?
This week Lara and Michael cover the story of missing 6 year old child by the name of Hind whose terrified phone calls circulated worldwide and the tragic disappearance of two civil defense workers who went looking for her. We just received an update on February 10, 2024 (after recording this episode) that Hind and the civil defense workers were murdered by the Israeli apartheid regime. Hind's body was found in her uncle's car along with the bodies of her uncle, aunt, and their three children who were all killed by Israeli tank fire and the remains of the ambulance sent to save her was found meters away. It was targetted in an airstrike after arriving on site killing the two civil defense workers sent to save Hind: Yusuf Al-Zeino and Ahmed Al-Madhoun. We also cover the zionist settlers blocking the entrance of aid into Gaza in violation of the ICJ order while Palestinian children die of starvation in Gaza. We report on the discovery of a mass grave of 30 bound and numbered Palestinian bodies in a school in Northern Gaza and comment on the long-term impact on the freedom struggle of the public narrative shifting to discuss genocidal intent of the Zionist ideology.
