Razer Abyssus V2 Review (VS Abyssus 2014)
Small, ambidextrous mouse with light buttons and an optical sensor, now with a DPI button. I had some issues with the Abyssus 2014, mainly that it was temperamental with spinning out. Thankfully this new Abyssus didn't spin out on me during game, however, I can make it spin out if I really try.
When they mentioned 5,000 DPI, we assumed it would be the 3310. Apparently it's a 3325 or 3329. It's a decent sensor, but not sure what its advantage is over the 3310, considering it doesn't have as good a max tracking speed.
Still, because it didn't spin out in game and because I aim so well with it (small mouse for 18cm hand), I'd be happy to use it in competitive play, and I recommend it for anyone who wants a mouse like this and falls within the hand size guide in the video.
But I want to stress that the other Abyssus seemed fine at first too... so if you do get one that starts spinning out a lot, please let me know, and include your DPI and sensitivity settings, along with what mouse surface you're using.
Anyway, cool little mouse! Always fun to use in FPS. Also should be good for MOBA and RTS, as the buttons are light.
