The Cat® Dealer Network Provides Critical Support in the Marcellus Shale.

The Cat® dealer network offers the largest number of service providers in the industry, with 160 independent dealers serving 197 countries. Operators in the Marcellus Shale Play benefit from the support of multiple Cat dealers, including Ohio Cat, Foley Inc., Carter Cat, Boyd Cat and Cleveland Brothers.
Repsol, a global energy provider, sends approximately eight Cat engines through Cleveland Brothers’ ERC each month. Cleveland Brothers conducts engine audits when the units are returned to the field to verify their performance and help prevent unplanned downtime. Additionally, the dealer performs 16 to 20 engine top-end overhauls on-site each year for the operator and offers remote monitoring to help prevent unplanned downtime. These efforts have enabled Repsol’s engines to last 15% to 20% longer between overhauls.
