PSCORE's president, Kim Tae Hoon made an oral statement during the 40th Human Rights Council session on March 11 2019.
This particular session includes an interactive dialogue with the Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea. The key factors in this statement were: the current children’s rights and the defection of high ranking North Korean ex-diplomat Cho Sung Gil. PSCORE wants to bring more light to these issues and hopes to be able to get the help of the UN to receive more concise information on the defected ex-diplomat and his repatriated daughter. This is needed to garantuee the safety of the Cho family.
