If you look at the fretboard closely it's is an inverse/inside out version of the diatonic greek scale (western music). In comparison to standard guitar's (standard C major notes) fretboard, anywhere there was a semitone there is now a giant tone, and the whole tones are significantly narrowed.
There are minor whole tones instead of major, and the leading tones are now large steps. Simply put, Large and small steps changed from LLsLLLs, to ssLsssL. This is what's called inverse or anti-diatonic.
All minor and major chords as previously positioned in the traditional scale (and all songs written in that temperament) are now reversed, and B instead of the usual diminished fifth has a raised note. This means you can retain the mapping of western musical songs and classical music, and play inside out versions of them where all the chords and melodies are reversed.
This is an "Enantiodromia" of western music, as the lattice for regular chord structure is upside down, and inside out. The lesson here is that every scale has an inverse version of itself.
