It was barely breaking but we still had a blast. It was epic to experience the magic of Byron Bay while also getting to reconnect with buddies I hadn't seen in ages.
If I learned anything it is that those turkey-looking birds are actually called brush turkeys but everyone thinks it's bush turkey. Even if it is brush turkey, no one will call them that. So bush turkey it is and is also the bt in @btfoiler's name.
I was riding the @LiftFoils 90 HA / 26 carve (no extender) / 32 x2 mast. I would have preferred a 21 carve and extender, but it's all I could get my hands on and I'm still super grateful that @zane.westwood.foil7 hooked me up with all the gear and I didn't have to bring any from Hawaii. Team Lift takes care.
