I am using the Motors WordPress theme (version 5.4.24), and after updating to the latest WordPress version, the search filter dropdowns (e.g., Make, Model, Price) are no longer working as expected.
Previously, when a user selected a "Make" (e.g., Toyota), the "Model" dropdown would automatically update to show only models related to the selected make. However, now the dropdowns display all options regardless of the selected value in the preceding dropdown.
The search filter functionality worked perfectly before the update, so I suspect it could be a compatibility issue between the theme and the latest WordPress version.
Steps I've taken:
Cleared cache and checked for plugin conflicts.
Verified that JavaScript is loading correctly.
Ensured the Motors theme plugin is activated.
Has anyone faced this issue before, and how can I resolve it? Should I roll back WordPress or make adjustments in the theme files?
