I made this video due to popular demand. This song is from my first album "The Glo Up" so if you liked this video go stream it and check out all of my other songs because they're all a bop! :) My name is Gloreymi Agosto (glory-me) but people call me Mimi. i'm from Providence Rhode island born and raised and resides in ATL. I have been writing songs since high school but i honestly never had the courage to pursue music because there was no examples of women that looked like me that made it. All I ever saw was the beyonce's and rihanna's of the world and i don't look anything like them. So I became discouraged and decided to go to college and get a good career. I went on to graduate from Nursing School (RIC) with my BSN and i couldn't be more proud of myself for doing what people called the "impossible" I never listened to any one i studied my ass off and blocked out all the negative opinions (it serves me NOTHING to soak up bad energy). Nonetheless, I never could forget about my first love, music. The fire inside of me for music never let up and I felt incomplete the whole time i was in school. So in my senior year of college I just writing songs and recording them in my garageband which i learned how to do from a close friend of mine Rokstar Walt (rapper). For the first time i felt free i felt like i was finally living my truth. Over the years I got better at singing and writing which brings me here in this current time and i'm truly happy now. Im a nurse and im a singer im living my best life :). I currently have two full 8 song albums out and I have already a full body of work to put out as another album but i may just release one by one as singles, i'm not sure yet so stay tune and see what my next song will be!!
