National Night Out 2024
National Night Out (NNO) was held in Richardson this week with many neighbors gathering at events in local parks and neighborhood block parties.
This year’s theme was Turn The Town Blue and included 114 registered block parties with more than 50 police officers visiting individual events.
As part of NNO, the police department organized a “Can Do” food drive collecting more than 6,736 pounds of shelf-stable food for the Network of Community Ministries.
NNO promotes police-community partnerships and strengthens neighborhood spirit.
