Superintendent and my old employer who would been involved in over $1 billion worth of construction projects always told me “show me a dirty job site and I will guarantee you, I will show you a job site that is over budget and behind schedule.”
this is always stuck with me knowing that this individual has managed dozens of job sites over $50 million. If you’re a trade partner, take pride in your work and if you work is outside where people can drive by and see it, take even more pride in keeping it clean because the individuals who might want to hire you cleaning might be important to them, and if your site is super dirty they won’t go any further then just by the job site.
