Uranium red breaking itself into pieces in real time. I am not sure what the cause of this is but I have observed a similar phenomena from anhydrous palladium dichloride. I think what's happening is that the dry solid is absorbing water vapor from the atmosphere and for some reason this causes the particles to violently break apart.
