In 1960, the fourteen French colonies in sub-Saharan Africa gained independence. General de Gaulle entrusted Jacques Foccart with the implementation of a system that would become known as Françafrique, designed to maintain control of our former colonies by all means, legal and illegal.
50 years later, this system persists.
For the first time, men who held the highest official and unofficial positions over the past fifty years reveal the tumultuous history of a secret world where, beyond any parliamentary or governmental oversight, anything goes.
