Preparing for the Debian 10 installation.

The ISO I used can be found at https://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/un...
Using:
debian-live-10.9.0-amd64-xfce+nonfree.iso

In the event you are unable to connect to the internet having these instructions and drivers on a USB stick
will allow you to read the instructions from various Websites as well as have the WiFi drivers so that you
make configuration changes and install the drivers during the install.

Vist these sites, in FireFox use the 3 bars in the upper rigt dropdown and do a "save pages as"
Save them to a USB stick

https://linuxconfig.org/how-to-instal...

https://wiki.debian.org/Firmware

download the current Debian 10 firmware.tar.gz from
https://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/un...

Save to your USB stick and extract to a folder called FIRMWARE.
After you boot up but before you start the install have the USB with the FIRMWARE folder plugged in. That way the installer will find the WiFi drivers and install automatically.

Obviously, also save this file and CustomizeDebianXFCE.txt to the USB stick as well.

** Warning **
If you install Debian on a system with another Linux, it will only dual boot
other Debian based distros and it will rewrite the swap.
The first time booting the other distro will take 2+ minutes becasuse it
won't be able to find swap as the UUID will be changed. You'll need to
fix that in that distros /etc/fstab.
