➡️ Is There An Azerbaijan Visa On Arrival (VoA) For Indians?
Yes. Eligible Indian citizens can now apply for a visa on arrival at the international airports in Azerbaijan.
➡️ To be eligible for a Visa on Arrival, you must:
Be a resident of a GCC or Gulf Cooperation Countries.
Your GCC visa must be valid for at least 6 additional months at the time of arrival.
If you are a Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, or Oman resident, you'd need a citizen of the respective country to apply for VoA.
If you are a resident of the UAE, you can apply for VoA yourself.
Carrying the notarized translation of your residence permit is advised.
You also need travel insurance, a passport valid for 6 months, covid vaccination certificate, hotel booking, and a return flight ticket.
➡️ Is There An Azerbaijan e-Visa For Indians?
Yes. Indian citizens can apply for an Azerbaijan eVisa on the eVisa portal known as 'ASAN Visa.'
➡️ What Are The Azerbaijan Visa Cost For Indians?
Single Entry Visa at the embassy cost: USD 20 (Approx. INR 1600)
Multiple Entry Visa at the embassy cost: USD 350 (Approx. INR 28,000)
Transit Visa at the embassy cost: USD 20 (Approx. INR 1600)
Visa On Arrival cost: USD 26 (Approx. INR 2000)
e-Visa cost: USD 26 (Approx. INR 2000)
The visa fees are non-refundable. Plus, the e-visa fees consist of USD 1 bank fee, USD 5 service fees, and USD 20 for processing the electronic visa application.
➡️ What Is The Azerbaijan Visa Processing Time?
The processing time of any visa depends on how you have applied for it.
Online visa application takes 3 business days.
Urgent e-Visa application takes 3 hours.
At the embassy, it takes between 5-15 working days.
Visa on arrival is none because you get it at the airport. Unless you consider waiting in a queue as processing time.
➡️ What Is The Validity Of An Azerbaijan Visa?
Depending on the Azerbaijan visa, it is valid for between 30 to 180 days.
Single Entry Visa allows you to enter the country once and stay in the country for a maximum of 30 days. It is usually valid for 90 days.
Multiple Entry Visa allows you to enter the country multiple times and stay there for a maximum of 90 days during its validity. It is usually valid for 180 days.
A transit Visa allows you to enter the country once and stay there for a maximum of 5 days. It is usually valid for 30 days.
The eVisa is a single entry visa valid for 90 days. You can stay in Azerbaijan for a maximum of 30 days.
Lastly, the visa issued by the embassy is generally valid for a longer period of time.
