Walking the arc
In summer 2023 I thru-hiked the Carpathian Mountains. I started at the Danube river in Devin (Bratislava) in the middle of June. I went through about 45 mountain ranges in Slovakia, Ukraine and Romania, and in the second half of August I descended to the Danube again in Orsova at the border with Serbia. Most of the time I spent in the mountains, sleeping under my tarp or in shelters. Supplies were refilled in villages and towns when switching ranges (crossing valleys). Hard to buy stuff I got from a few support packages sent to different places on the way. This footage shows pictures I have taken on this journey.
