As a child, Sancar, the son of a poor sharecropper, falls in love with Nare, the daughter of an ambassador who comes to Bodrum for the holidays. These two very different children love each other deeply and fight for their love for years. In the end, the girl runs away with the boy, but on the night they meet, Nare suddenly disappears. And no one ever sees her again.
Some say she fell into the sea and died; some say that, being the ambassador's daughter, she ran away to Europe. A singer sings a song for them: the ambassador's daughter turned into a bird and flew away. And the unhappy story of Nare and Sancar becomes an epic. The ambassador's daughter, who disappeared on her wedding night, reappears nine years later on another wedding night. Moreover, this wedding is Sancar's wedding. And Nare brings her daughter to him.
