Yannick aka Gigawipf has shown us two of his projects at Maker Faire Hannover 2023. One was Floppy Music, which is a musical instrument made of 64 floppy disk drives that is controlled via MIDI (shown in the next video). The other one is the Open Force Feedback Board, that can turn any common servo motor into a force feedback driver coupled with a racing wheel or joystick. The OpenFFBoard is open source hardware and software, so anybody can assemble the board from the open schematics and run the open firmware on it for a DIY force feedback solution!
