In this video, we'll learn how to set up SPF, DKIM, MX & DMARC Records for better email deliverability.

SPF, DKIM, MX, and DMARC are all types of DNS records that are used to improve the security and authenticity of email messages. Here's a brief overview of each:

➡️SPF (Sender Policy Framework) is a DNS record that specifies which mail servers are authorized to send an email on behalf of a domain. When an email is received, the receiving server can check the SPF record to verify that the server that sent the email is allowed to do so. This helps to prevent spam and phishing attacks by ensuring that only authorized servers can send emails from a particular domain.

➡️DKIM (Domain Keys Identified Mail) is a security measure that uses cryptographic signatures to verify the authenticity of an email message. It works by adding a digital signature to the headers of an email. This signature can be checked by the server that is receiving the email to see if it has been changed.

➡️MX (Mail Exchange) records are DNS records that specify which servers are responsible for handling email for a particular domain. These records tell other servers where to send an email for a particular domain and are used to route email to the correct server.

➡️DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting & Conformance) is a security measure that helps to protect against spam and phishing attacks by enabling domain owners to publish a policy in their DNS records that specifies which authentication mechanisms are used to secure their email. This allows receiving servers to check the authenticity of email messages and take appropriate action (such as rejecting or quarantining the message) if the authentication fails.
