Dewclaws on dogs grow much faster than regular dog nails (they don't get filed down by regular walks and activities), so let's see how to handle a long dewclaw on a dog. Sometimes these grow all the way around and can become imbedded into a dog's paw pad or skin, so we need to make sure to maintain our pet's dewclaws to make sure they are kept as short as possible.
