🇬🇷 Rhodes Adventure: Tsambika Beach & Monastery
One ‘typical’ day on Rhodes certainly involves a visit to Tsambika Beach, and that’s how I envisioned this day as well. However, just two stops before the beach, I decided to get off the bus and first visit Tsambika Monastery, then walk to the beach. It was a scorching Mediterranean day, and the fairly steep ascent, with about 300 more steps to the monastery at the very end, posed quite a challenge. But it was worth it. The monastery is beautiful, and the view from that spot is surreal. The return to the beach was already tiring, about an hour of walking in the hot sunny weather, but the reward at the end was Tsambika Beach—one of the most beautiful beaches on Rhodes and in this part of the Mediterranean. Of course, it’s perfect for those who love shallow waters and sandy beaches.🌞🏖️
