What do you do when you know the action steps you need to take?? But are avoiding following through??
Well the last thing you want to do is to force or manipulate yourself into doing anything.
Why??
Well let's say you have an important call to make to a client and you are feeling really nervous about it. If you force yourself to push through the nerves to make that call, there’s a high chance that you’ll be even more emotional and stuck in your head when you’re conversing with the client. Now whether or not you create what you want out of this conversation, if this a regular pattern of yours, you’ll struggle to consistently take meaningful action. The constant “forcing” or “breaking” your way through barriers will be unsustainable and you’ll eventually want to give in.
So in this episode today I talk about 2 key premises that have completely changed my outlook on “inaction” and how I deal with it in my own life.
By default I’m a serial “hustler”, as a kid I actually learnt that creating things by “force” was cool. But the truth is it has been my ultimate achilles heel. Over the last few years I have limited my business and myself MAJORLY because of this mentality. It’s only been recently where things have drastically started to change. So I decided to open up talk about what I’ve learnt through coming up against this and stepping out of it now.
Here’s a breakdown of what I covered:
Everyone IS taking a form of action and why it’s critical for you to acknowledge what your doing.
The intuitive guidance I received for my business and travels, and how I talked myself out of it for 2 years.
How and WHY I completely missed the golden opportunities to take advantage of
The importance of changing your “orientation” in life.
The key shift I made that got me out of my head into crazy amounts of momentum
How “vulnerability” helped me finally get over to Spain and build the business I had always wanted.
I hope you enjoy it!
